Awasi Patagonia

Riding

Awasi was amazing, first the riding then Rosario and the list goes on.
Galloping in the pampas is fantastic - galloping for miles. I had a wonduful  horse
called... I've forgotten, but he was REALLY fast I am talking Really fast !!!!  I just love it. We had a very gaucho looking gaucho called Daniel ride with us who smoked continuously and could even light a cigaret in mid gallop.

Daniel the Gaucho

Anyway it was amazing/ fantastic/ every other word you could find that means that !!!!!!!!

Everything

Everything was good about Awasi except the hot tub in which the water was brown and we couldn't see anything so we didn't get in. But we did a walk, the steepest walk I have ever done. We went with Patrick and I was determined to be first and I WAS FIRST !!!

Me first at the top of the BIG hill
Woooooo I shouted when I got to the top. We had a snack up there and skidded back down. That was fun!!!!!!!

On our way down we saw a Condor come incredible close it was amazing. Daddy managed to get a snap.

El Galpon

We only stayed a short stay but a fun stay. Carlos  (the owner) took us on a ride and gave us a demo on riding with no stirrups.
the lovely Marcos

After that we did canter/gallop and I rode with no stirrups.(You just have to cling with your legs) My Uk riding school will seem tame by comparison  when I get back. On the way back to the house we stopped of to look at the foals, One of them was 10 DAYS old beautiful !!!!!!!!

That night we watched some good dancers dance the tango and something else.
the tango

I loved the meat they had and we saw it being cooked smoky!!!

Oh yes, and we saw the only advancing glacier in this part of the world.  It was amazing and I will never forget the Perito Moreno glacier. We saw it from both land and lake.
Perito Moreno glacier

I love taking photos!!!

 Peuma Hue

We arrived at Peuma Hue and went riding the first day. That was fun. I was put on a three year old horse, she was called Mumba. She was a really good horse! She jumped a big log that was 80 cm high and 80 cm wide- thats the biggest I think I have ever jumped. We gallop along the beach really fast and through the water going very deep!!!!! It is amazing :)

Chris the person who rides with us is so nice. She has been with horses all through her life, she has grown up with horses. I have gone riding with her twice by myself, she knows what I like. Jumping, galloping, galloping on the beach and through the water. Every time we rode, the dogs came with us I liked that and they were all English sheep dogs. Thank you to Chris for making it a very nice time riding!!!!!!!

Enough of that.  This might sound boring but it's amazing. I have a BIG allergy to cats as some of you know. BUT here I am touching lots of cats and not getting itchy. I used to be sick if I snuggled a cat and I might have just groan out of it which is Fantasmegorical!!!!!!!!!!

One time daddy went swimming in the lake. It was freezing so Mummy and I only went to our belly buttons- that was hard enough. Daddy and I love skidding stones on the lake Daddy once skidded the sone 12 times and I skidded 8 that was amazing (this was our best score in the whole of the holiday). I loved Peuma Hue!!!!
